Terms & Conditions

• Children’s Cycling Attachments:
  We offer the following options, all available only when rented with our hire bikes:
  – Child Seats – suitable for ages 1-4yrs, up to 15kg.
  – Trailers – suitable for ages 1-5 years, up to 30kg (1-2 children)
  – Tag-Alongs – suitable for ages 4-8 years, up to 32kg, max height 130cm, min height 118cm.

• No Beach or Sea Riding: Riding on the beach or in the sea is prohibited. A £250 replacement charge applies if violated.ID: Proof of ID may be requested upon delivery (e.g., driving licence, passport).
• Guaranteed Equipment: Pre-booked and paid equipment will be available.
• Safe Cycling: Follow the Highway Code: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/the-highway-code/rules-for-cyclists-59-to-82. Unsafe cycling may result in the repossession of equipment without a refund.
• Helmets: Provided free of charge. Declining a helmet is at your own risk.
• Lock Bikes: Always lock bikes when unattended. Theft of an unlocked bike will incur a £250 charge.
• Return Time: Late returns are subject to a £10 charge. Latest return: 5:00 pm (4:00 pm on Sundays).
• Damage & Cleanliness: Charges may apply for damage or excessive cleaning.
• Cancellations: Cancel up to 24 hours in advance for a full refund. No refunds after this period.

Wight Cycle Hire reserves the right to refuse service at any time if seen to be riding in an unsafe or dangerous manner.
