Yarmouth Town & Fort Victoria

Yarmouth is the smallest seaside Town in the country but boasts much to see and do including the UK’s longest wooden Pier and Yarmouth Castle built by Henry VIII in 1547. It is packed with all sorts of interesting independent retailers from Ice Cream Parlours to Funky Bag shops.

There are many places to eat and drink and it makes the perfect post ride visit. Home to the Wightlink Ferry and Yarmouth Harbour.

Just a short ride away over the Yar Bridge you will find Fort Victoria Country Park home to a former military Fort built by Palmerston during Queen Victoria’s reign to protect the Isle of Wight from French invasion. It is a lovely place to explore on foot and has amazing views over The Solent to Hurst Point and a handful of small visitor attractions.
